This policy explains what happens to personal data on tamax.tech. It covers this website. The TAMAX applications have their own privacy information, provided with each application.

TAMAX operates this website and decides how personal data submitted through it is used.

The short version

Reading this website collects nothing from you. Personal information reaches TAMAX only when you choose to send the contact form.

  • No website analytics.
  • No advertising and no behavioural tracking.
  • No advertising, analytics or profiling cookies used intentionally.
  • No third-party tracking scripts and no tracking-based embedded content.
  • No profiling and no automated decision-making.
  • Personal information is never sold or rented.
  • What you send through the contact form is used to answer you.

The contact form

The contact form collects only what you submit voluntarily: your name, your company or organisation, your email address, an optional telephone number, the service you selected and your message.

When you send the form, that information is transmitted to TAMAX and used to respond to your request. Together with your message, the request records the network address it came from, the language of the page and the time it was received, so the form can be protected against automated abuse.

What you write is used to answer you and for nothing else. It is not used for marketing and it is not passed on for advertising.

Please do not send passwords, confidential credentials, health information or sensitive security logs through the form. If technical evidence is needed to help you, we will agree a secure way to share it.

Cookie information

The current TAMAX website does not intentionally use analytics, advertising, profiling or tracking cookies. There is nothing to consent to as you read it, which is why you see no consent banner.

If a feature requiring such a cookie is ever added, this section is updated first and a consent mechanism is in place before the cookie is set.

What is stored in your browser

The website stores one item locally, and only after you act:

  • Your language choice, saved when you use the EN or FR switcher, so the site can offer you the right version on a later visit.

The stored value is a language preference such as en or fr. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to any server, it contains nothing personal, and it can be removed by clearing the site data in your browser.

Analytics, tracking and embedded content

TAMAX does not use website analytics on tamax.tech. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Matomo and no comparable analytics platform.

TAMAX does not use advertising or behavioural tracking, and loads no third-party tracking scripts.

The site embeds no tracking-based third-party content such as YouTube videos or interactive maps.

For contact requests, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries addressed to us, and on your consent where it is required. Protecting the form against automated abuse is based on our legitimate interest in keeping a working way for people to reach us.

Where the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection or the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to a request, it is handled accordingly.

How long data is kept

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the communication, for business administration and for applicable legal obligations. When none of those reasons applies any more, the information is deleted.

Hosting and server logs

This site is a static website served by a hosting provider. Like every web server, the host may record technical connection data such as the IP address, the time of the request, the page requested and the browser identification, for operation and security.

TAMAX does not use these logs to build profiles of visitors.

Who receives your data

Personal information submitted through this website is received by TAMAX. It is not sold, rented or shared for advertising.

Service providers that make the website work process data on our behalf and only for that purpose: the hosting provider that serves the site and runs the form endpoint, and the mail provider that delivers your request to our mailbox.

Your rights

Depending on the law applicable to you, you can ask for the following, free of charge:

  • Confirmation of whether we hold personal data about you, and a copy of it.
  • Correction of data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Deletion of data we no longer need.
  • Restriction of processing, or an objection to it.
  • Withdrawal of a consent you previously gave, without affecting what happened before.

Send your request to [email protected]. If you consider that your data has been handled incorrectly, you can also contact the competent data protection authority.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS, uses a restrictive content security policy, and transmits nothing you do not send yourself. The contact form is validated and rate limited on the server, and the mailbox and mail credentials are never exposed to the browser.

The TAMAX applications

Jarvis Calendar, HelvGuard, Swiss Cards and TAMAX App are separate products with their own data handling, described in the privacy information provided with each application. This policy covers the website only.

Changes to this policy

This policy can be updated when the website or the way we handle requests changes. The date at the top of the page shows the current version.
